Meet DoT — the Describer of Things, a smart mascot built to simplify IoT discovery.
I created DoT, a confident, tech-savvy mascot who represents the company’s expertise and leads users through an interactive decision experience. She asks a few simple questions to understand users’ needs and then delivers either a personalised “guide pack” or connects them with sales.
DoT helps users navigate IoT decisions with clarity, making complex technology easy to understand. With thoughtful logic and an approachable interface, she ensures users quickly find the information or support they need, creating a seamless journey from curiosity to confident action.
Brand & DoT
At the time, our branding used flow lines and dots across graphics to reflect how everything is well-connected. DoT became the embodiment of that idea, the dot that connects users to the information they need, representing our knowledgeable approach to simplifying IoT.
Highlights
The project produced a fully functional interactive experience on the Pelion website. This was complemented by DoT themed social media posts, animations, and email campaigns that reinforced the brand and extended her presence across different channels.
